Dura Painting is EPA Lead Certified, meaning if your home was built before 1978, we are able to mitigate the risk of lead paint exposure to you and your family. While your project may require a specialized process to encapsulate the existing lead paint in your home, you can trust Dura Painting to get it done the right way, the first time.
Our Process starts with full prep of the work area to localize the possible contamination. The painted surface will be cleaned to ensure adhesion of the paint coatings. Then, 2 coats of lead block primer are applied to the surface to create a barrier, locking in the lead-based paint. Our premium paint finishes are applied overtop the primer to give the surface a beautiful finished look.
